Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited by Chinna Jeeyar Swamy to attend the unveiling of an idol of Bhagwat Ramanujacharya.PM Modi was presented with an invitation on Saturday at the Prime Minister’s residence.

On this occasion, Chinna Jeeyar Swamy explained the significance of the millennium celebrations of Ramanujacharya to PM Modi.Jupally Rameshwara Rao also briefed Modi on the project.

The Prime Minister was briefed on the uniqueness of the statue.The 216-foot Ramanujacharya statue to be erected reflects the Statue of Equality and the details of the 108 Divinities.

Prime Minister Modi lauded Chinna Jeeyar Swamy efforts for world peace.Also, PM Modi promised to come to the statue unveiling.

Chinna Jeeyar Swamy is setting up the largest statue of Ramanujacharya at the Chinna Jeeyar Swamy Ashram in Shamshabad on the occasion of the millennium celebrations.The project is being designed on a total of 200 acres at Rs 1,000 crore.

Idol unveiling ceremonies are held from February 2 to 14.

Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, who has been touring Delhi for the past five days, has already invited RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, including President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and Kishan Reddy.
