Check Dress code and Covid norms for NEET-UG 2021

Arrangements have been completed for NEET-21 for admissions in Medical Education Course (UG).The exam will be held on Sunday from 2 pm to 5 pm.Nearly 60,000 students across Telangana are set to take the test.The National Testing Agency (NTA) has allotted examination centres in Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Karimnagar, Khammam and Warangal.

While 94 per cent of students attended ‘NEET’ last year in the wake of Covid, officials now estimate that attendance is likely to increase.

The NTA has announced a special dress code for students appearing for the exam.

Here are some of the guidelines issued by the NTA.

  • Boys and girls should not wear long-sleeved dresses.If it’s religious compulsory, the students should reach the examination centre by 12.30 pm.
  • Students should not bring a wallet, pouch, goggles, hats, handbags etc.
  • Students appearing for NEET should not wear shoes.Only low heels should be worn.
  • Pencil, calculator, scale, writing pad etc, are also not allowed into the examination hall.

  • Girls should not wear earrings, chains, nose splints, necklaces, jewellery like bracelets and boys are prohibited from wearing chains, and bracelets.
  • Candidates should arrive at the examination centre at least an hour earlier.

  • Corona thermal screening of the candidates is compulsory.
