TDP state women president Vangalapudi Anitha has said that it is an injustice to arrest a young woman and keep her in the station till midnight for posting against the YCP govt on social media.Recently, AP police arrested a woman named Jyothi Sri for allegedly posting against the YCP govt on the social media platform.
Anitha fired on AP police for placing the women in the police station till midnight.Anita was incensed that it was cruel to keep children and women in the police station in the name of interrogation.
On this occasion, she alleged that CM Jagan was scared of the social media posts made by Jyothi Sri.Speaking on this occasion, she said, “Every day, the YCP govt posts obscene remarks on TDP women leaders and Amravati women on social media.The AP CID and DGP should answer why they are not taking action against them.”
Vangalapudi Anitha said, “The TDP has complained to the DGP and CID about the embarrassing postings of the YCP on social media accusing the TDP leaders.But, the accused were not arrested.” She criticized AP police for not arresting the culprits of rape and murders on women but arresting women for posting on social media.
