The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) planning special packages for a tour to Ramappa temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.It has drafted two types of proposals to ply buses from Hyderabad to Ramappa.
As far as the first package is concerned, initially, the tourists leave for the Bhuvanagiri fort from Hyderabad.From here, they will visit the Yadadri temple, and later they will reach Ramappa temple.
Tourists stay overnight in Bhuvanagiri or Warangal and return to Hyderabad the next day.
However, in the second package, the buses will directly reach Ramappa temple from Hyderabad.From here, they reach Yadadri Temple in Bhuvanagiri and returns to Hyderabad at night.The tourism department hopes to bring the best packages to the Ramappa temple tour as it is likely to attract more foreign tourists as compared to the past.
Currently, the tourist department is planning to make sure that the tourists visit all the famous sites in Telangana, including the Ramappa temple.
Also, the Tourist department is planning to expand the existing 12-room green hotel in Palampeta to 100 rooms.
The proposals will be forwarded soon to Chief Minister KCR and Minister Srinivas Gowda, said TSTDC Chairman Uppala Srinivas Gupta.
