There is a slight increase in the number of corona cases in the state.Recently, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh held a review meeting with the officials and discussed corona severity and how to face the third wave effectively.
As a part of this, the state government ordered the concerned authorities to focus on the corona vaccination drive in the state.
Also, it decided to increase the curfew timings in the state.
To this end, the Jagan government has issued orders extending the night curfew.The orders revealed that the night curfew would be extended to the 30th of this month.
In the last 24 hours, 86,280 corona tests were performed across the state.Out of these, 2,527 people tested positive for coronavirus.
Also, AP reported 19 deaths in the past 24 hours.With the latest figures, the number of people infected with the virus has reached 19,46,749 in the state, the state health ministry said in a bulletin released today.
The total death toll in the state has risen to 13,197.In the last 24 hours, 2,412 corona victims recovered from the disease.
This brings the total number of recoveries in the state to 19,09,613.There are currently 23,939 active cases in the state.
