The severity of the second wave of coronavirus continues in AP.In the last 24 hours, when 91,070 samples were tested, 2,982 people tested positive for coronavirus.There is a decline in the number of people being infected with the coronavirus in AP.
According to the Andhra Pradesh state health department, along with the latest reports 19,14,213 people were infected with the coronavirus.However, yet another 21 people died while receiving treatment in the hospitals.The highest death toll, 6 deaths were recorded in the Prakasam district.
With this, the death toll in AP due to the coronavirus rose to 12,946 across the state.As per the official reports, currently, there are 31,850 corona active cases in the state.
However, another 4,019 victims have recovered from the coronavirus.This brings the total number of recoveries in the state to 18,69,417.
The state health department has so far tested 2,26,99,142 samples across the state.
Medical experts warn that people should be more vigilant as there are chances for the third wave of coronavirus.
They warn people to abide by the corona rules.It is said that wearing a mask and adhering to physical distance is mandatory.
