Narsapuram MP Raghurama Krishnamaraju case has become a hot topic in AP politics.Raghurama has been arrested by AP police under treason charges.
When he appeared before the Supreme court he said that he was tortured in CID custody.
The Supreme Court granted him bail and ordered the officials to shift him to the Secunderabad Army hospital and later he got admitted to AIIMS hospitals in Delhi.
Later, he complained to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha about his ‘custodial torture’.He made it clear to the Speaker that he has not indulged in any anti-party activities and just reminding CM Jagan about the promises that he has made during the elections campaign.
However, the office of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla responded to Raghurama’s complaint.The Lok Sabha Speaker office has directed the Union Home Secretary to provide complete details on all issues from the arrest of Raghurama Krishnamaraju within 15 days.
Also, it is learned that Raghurama issued notices to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, DGP, CID ADG, and CID SPs.Along with Raghurama’s son Bharat, Telugu Desam Party MPs Kanaka Medala Ravindra Kumar and Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu also complained to the Speaker on the issue.
