The second wave of coronavirus resulted in a crisis in India.Many people lost their livelihood and the number of people below the poverty line has been increased since the pandemic began.
It is a known fact that all the state governments in the country are using social media as part of their efforts to trash the myths circulating regarding the corona epidemic.
Likewise, the AP government is also conducting a wide-ranging campaign on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter to motivate people to get vaccinated and giving clarity over myths about corona.
The AP state government is doing better than the neighbouring states in this regard, Covid Command Control State Nodal Officer Dr.Arja Srikanth said in a statement.
“We have launched an official page on Facebook @ArogyaAndhra to create awareness among people about the Coronavirus.He said that this page currently has over 1,63,704 followers.
He said that various similar Facebook pages are available belonging to various states.He said that the Gujarat page has 25,564 followers, the Tamil Nadu page has 7,953 followers, the Telangana page has 13,613 followers, Karnataka page has 1,03,077 followers, Kerala page has 1,17,544 followers and Odisha page has 89,068 followers,” Dr Srikanth said.
