The Telangana government has decided to postpone EAMCET and other joint entrance exams for Engineering in the state.Recently, the state government has announced that it has cancelled the Intermediate second-year board examinations in the state.

Against this backdrop, the Board of Higher Education hopes to give students at least 6 weeks to prepare for the exam.

Accordingly, the Telangana state government has decided to postpone the EAMCET examination which is to be held from 5th to 9th of next month.

A revised schedule is yet to be issued.A senior official of the Board of Higher Education said that the final decision on the conduct of these competitive exams will be announced after discussing with the government.

On the other hand, the JEE Mains examination is also postponed.The National Testing Agency (NTA) postponed them in the wake of the severity of the second wave of the corona.

Also, the JEE advanced examination is postponed which to be held on July 3.The revised exam date of this JEE has not yet been announced by the government.

Also, the Board of Higher Education has decided to postpone the Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET).
