AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy held a review meeting in the wake of the exponential increase of corona cases in AP.On this occasion, he made interesting remarks in the wake of the ongoing corona crisis in the state.He commented that people of AP should live along with Covid.The CM suggested that people should take self-care to fight against the corona.
Jagan asked the people of AP to wear masks and follow social distance in crowds.He added that the corona can be easily eradicated if 100 percent vaccination is completed in the state.
Jagan said that a total of 172 crore vaccine doses would be required for India to complete the entire vaccination drive in the country.
So far, only 18 crore doses have been given to the people of India, Jagan said.
Also, he said that AP needs a total of 7 crore doses.But, so far, only 73 lakh doses have been allotted to AP.In India, serum and Bharat Biotech companies are producing vaccines.Bharat Biotech is producing one crore vaccines per month, while the Serum Institute has a production capacity of 6 crore vaccines per month.
It implies that India has a capacity of only 7 crore vaccines per month, the Chief Minister said.Jagan said that people must act responsibly.
