Former TDP MLA Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar has been shifted back to the Rajahmundry Central Jail.It is learned that Narendra was recently admitted to Ayush Hospitals in the city for corona treatment.
Now, police shifted Narendra back to Central Jail as he has tested negative for coronavirus in his latest corona test reports.The doctors appealed to Narendra to stay in self-isolation for a week.
However, ACB officials said they would keep him in special isolation inside the jail.
It is learned that the TDP leader was arrested in connection with the Sangam Dairy scam.
He is currently on remand in Rajahmundry Jail.He recently tested positive for corona and he is suffering from corona symptoms like fever and cold.Narendra’s family members and his lawyer have filed a petition in the high court on his health condition.However, the High Court directed the police and jail authorities to conduct tests and treat Dhulipalla Narendra at a private hospital.
With this, Narendra was shifted from Rajahmundry jail to a private hospital.Sangam Dairy MD Gopalakrishna, who is accused in the same case, tested covid positive.
He is currently being treated at a private hospital.
