As the positive cases of corona are increasing on a large scale in AP, the AP Revenue Department is taking steps to curb the spread of corona in temples.

In this context, it has suspended darshans for devotees from the 10th to the 15th of this month at the Varaha Lakshminarasimhaswamy Temple in Visakhapatnam.

At the request of the priests of the temple, the temple EO, Suryakala decided to close the temple with the approval of the Board of Trustees.

However, they have decided to perform Nitya Puja as usual for Swami.

The EO said that the devotees are not allowed into the temple but all the activities that are supposed to take place for the Swami will take place as usual from morning till night.

Against this backdrop, the devotees were requested not to come to Simhachalam for darshan from the 10th to the 15th of this month.
