A partial curfew will be enforced for 2 weeks from today across Andhra Pradesh in order to curb the spread of coronavirus in the state.The curfew will be in force daily from 12 pm to 6 am the next day.The curfew will last for 18 hours in the state for the next two weeks.

Section 144 is imposed in the state from 6 a.m.to 12 p.m.Various business, commercial establishments, shops, offices, educational institutions, restaurants, etc.will remain closed after 12 pm.Only emergency services like hospitals and medical shops will remain open.Autos, taxis, and city buses will be permitted only from 6 a.m.to 12 p.m.

Recently, the Curfew rules and guidelines were issued by Medical and Health Chief Secretary, Anil Kumar Singhal.It was clarified that not more than 20 people were allowed to attend the wedding ceremonies.

It must also be conducted abiding by the rules of the covid and with prior permission from the respective authorities.

Activities related to the agricultural sector are allowed to be carried out abiding by the rules of the covid issued by the Department of Agriculture.

Pregnant women and patients will be exempted from the corona curfew in the state.
