Despite the increase in corona cases in Andhra Pradesh, the government has decided to conduct Tenth and intermediate board examinations as per the schedule.While the download process of inter-examination hall tickets has already started, the government will complete all the arrangements for conducting the examinations soon.
However, recently, the High Court made key remarks on the conduct of SSC and Intermediate board examinations in the state of Andhra Pradesh.The court, which was hearing petitions seeking cancellation of the exams from parents of the students, directed the government to rethink its decision on the conduct of the board exams in the wake of the second wave of the coronavirus in the state.
The High Court, however, said that parents were concerned that this was an issue linked to the lives of millions of students.The High Court questioned the state government that how can the government conduct examinations as the neighboring states have already postponed the examinations.
The High Court directed the AP government to file a counterclaim on this.The High Court adjourned the next hearing to May 3.
