Covid-19 is booming in the state of Andhra Pradesh.Recently, the daily cases crossed the 17,000 mark like never before.
With this, the authorities were worried and the state government is trying its best to bring the situation in the state under control.Mini lockdowns have been imposed in several places to curb the spread of the virus, and a statewide night curfew is currently in force.
The state medical health department said 17,354 new positive corona cases have been recorded in the past 24 hours.In addition, the number of people infected with the virus in AP so far has reached 11,01,690.
Yesterday alone, 64 people dead due to Corona.The death toll due to the virus in Andhra Pradesh has risen to 7,992 so far.
In the last 24 hours, Nellore district reported 8 deaths, Visakhapatnam district reported 8 deaths, Vijayanagaram district reported 7 deaths, Chittoor district reported 6 deaths, East Godavari district reported 6 deaths, Prakasam district reported 6 deaths, Anantapur district reported 5 deaths, Guntur district reported 4 deaths, Kurnool district reported 4 deaths, West Godavari district reported 4 deaths, Krishna district reported 3 deaths and Srikakulam district reported 3 deaths.Currently, 1,22,980 people are being treated at various hospitals in Andhra Pradesh.
