Akkineni Nagarjuna starrer action and thriller drama ‘Wild Dog’ which hit the theatres on the 2nd of April after the reopening of theatres, has got mixed responses from the audience.Though it got positive reviews from the critics on day one, the box office collections were not up to the mark due to the pandemic.
The film is directed by Ashishor Solomon who earlier worked as a writer for Nagarjuna’s ‘Oopiri’.
We have already reported that ‘Wild Dog’ is now available for streaming on popular OTT platform Netflix from a couple of nights ago and the latest update is that the film is getting a terrific response from the viewers once it premiered in the digital space.It is released in multiple languages on the popular OTT platform and it is currently trending in the No.1 position in terms of Telugu movies and the Tamil version is trending in the 5th spot.
The film is based on the tragic bomb blasts that happened in Hyderabad and how Nagarjuna who plays Vijay Varma leads his team of NIA agents in the mission of catching the terrorists responsible for these blasts. Dia Mirza is playing the female lead while Saiyami Kher will be seen in an action-packed role.
