The Telangana government has imposed a lockdown in the wake of the increasing corona positive cases in the state.On April 17, the Nagarjunasagar Assembly constituency by-election was ended.
However, the leaders involved in the by-election campaign have been testing corona positive consecutively.It is reported that more than 60 members involved in the campaign were tested positive for coronavirus.
With this, Nagarjunasagar has turned into a corona hotspot in Telangana.
Recently, TRS candidate Nomula Bhagat tested positive for coronavirus and currently he has been under home isolation.
Along with Nomula Bhagath, his family members were also tested positive for Coronavirus.However, it is reported that many people present at the Chief Minister’s public meeting have been tested corona positive.
It is reported that Jeevan Reddy, the brother of Armur MLA, Armur ZPTC, and four other leaders in Armur were tested corona positive.TRS leader Kotireddy, Kadari Anjayya, Tripuraram market committee chairman Janayya, MLA Bhupal Reddy, and some other leaders were tested positive for the coronavirus.
BJP district president Sridhar Reddy, his wife Nivedita Reddy, PCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy’s driver, and gunmen were also tested positive for coronavirus.It is reported that the leaders tested corona positive because no one wore masks during the election campaign.
