The rise of corona-positive cases in the state of Andhra Pradesh is alarming.The number of people being infected with the virus is increasing day by day.Newly, 35,732 tests were performed across the state of which 4,157 positive cases came into the limelight.The total number of positive cases in the state so far, including the latest cases, has reached 9,37,049.
Recently, four died in Nellore due to the corona, three in Chittoor and Krishna, two in Visakhapatnam, and one each in Anantapur, East Godavari, Guntur, Kurnool, Prakasam, and Srikakulam districts respectively, the state health department said in a Health bulletin.The death toll rose to 7,339 across the state.
Within 24 hours, 1,606 new people had recovered from the corona.The total number of recoveries across the state reached 9,01,327 and currently, there are 28,383 active cases in the state.
In the last 24 hours the highest number of cases, 617 were reported in East Godavari district and the lowest number of cases, 60 were reported in West Godavari district.
On the other hand, recently, Tadikonda YCP MLA Undavalli Sridevi has been tested positive for coronavirus and she has been admitted to the Hyderabad Continental Hospital.
