Writer cum actor Adivi Sesh is currently starring in the bilingual film ‘Major’, a film inspired by the life of 26/11 martyr Sandeep Unnikrishnan which is obviously known news to all the cinema lovers out there.The film, being made in Telugu first then moved to be released in Hindi as well and recently also grabbed the attention of the Malayalam views and will be released in all these three languages.
The biography-based pan Indian film now has its teaser released by Mahesh Babu, Salman Khan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in their respective languages, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam.The teaser shows Adivi Sesh as an NSG Commando in a very injured state in the Taj Hotel.
Insights into his childhood are also shown and incidents that made the path into his career.The teaser ends with this line, “Don’t come up… I will handle them” which were the last words of the soldier.
The film had most of its shooting at the Taj hotel in Mumbai where the army hero was martyred.The film is slated for a worldwide release on July 2nd.2021.While Sesh will be seen in the titular role in the film, it will offer insight into the different phases of Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s life.
‘Major’ has the actors Saiee Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murali Sharma.The film is being bankrolled by Sony Pictures Films India along with Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment and A+S movies together and is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka
