‘Real hero’ Sonu Sood has been awarded rare tribute for his notable works as a philanthropist.Sonu Sood has been appointed as the Corona Vaccination Drive brand ambassador for the state of Punjab.
This was revealed by the Chief Minister of Punjab, Amarinder Singh.
Taking to his Twitter handle, the CM of Punjab tweeted, “Happy to share that actor & philanthropist @SonuSood will be the Brand Ambassador of our #Covid19 vaccination drive.
I thank him for supporting our campaign to reach out to, and protect every Punjabi, and appeal to all to get vaccinated at the earliest.”
The CM said that the people of Punjab were reluctant to get a vaccination against Covid.
Against this backdrop, they had appointed Sonu Sood as the brand ambassador of the Covid-19 vaccination drive in Punjab to create awareness and encourage them to get vaccinated.Sonu Sood thanked CM Amarinder Singh for appointing him as Corona Vaccination Drive brand ambassador.
He said he was happy to have the opportunity to take part in this massive campaign by the Punjab government to save the lives of the people of his own state.He was titled a ‘Real hero’ by the people of India as he has helped many people financially during the corona crisis.
