Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan is making a comeback to the big screen with ‘Vakeel Saab’, a Telugu remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Pink’.Ever since the actor announced his return to the film industry, expectations among the moviegoers are already sky-high.
Directed by Sriram Venu, the film’s first look and teaser have already grabbed everyone’s attention.The makers made sure that Pawan dominated the entire promotions starting from the posters to the songs to keep his fans happy. However, the critiques and the other fans were taken aback since the film revolves around women and their rights and freedom in the country yet the limelight is only on the actor.Finally, after the team has gotten their ear on the issue and has now decided to release their glimpse of the women in the film.
An International Women’s Day poster was released that features Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, and Ananya Nagalla – standing behind Pawan Kalyan, who was seated on an armed chair with a baseball bat in one hand and a book about Women Law and Criminal Justice in the other. Shruti Haasan, who worked with Pawan Kalyan in ‘Gabbar Singh’ and ‘Katamarayudu’, is also playing a cameo in the film as she will be playing the love interest of the hero.
The film is produced by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju simultaneously whereas the film has music by SS.Thaman.A couple of songs that were released have also proven to be massively successful.The film is in the last leg of post-production and is gearing up for release on April 9th.
