It is known news that the young and energetic actor Ram Pothineni will work with director Lingusamy in his next film, which will be produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi.The upcoming untitled film is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, and it marks Ram Pothineni’s 19th film in his career.
His last two films – Puri Jagannadh’s directorial venture iSmart Shankar and Kishore Tirumala’s Red, the remake of Tamil film Thadam – were superhit ventures.
Lingusamy is one of the popular filmmakers of Kollywood who is known for his movies like Pandem Kodi, Awara, Sikander, and others.
Now the reports are coming that Ram Pothineni and Lingusamy film’ will be made on a budget of Rs 75 Cr.This is a very huge sum considering the fact that Ram Pothineni’s movies never earned over Rs 60 Cr.The film budget has become a hot topic among the Film Nagar circles.
According to the latest buzz, Uppena girl Krithi Shetty will play the female lead in Ram Pothineni starrer.
Apparently, Krithi Shetty loved the way the director had designed her character and felt that it would be the right follow-up after the success of the romantic movie Uppena, which is based on honor killing.
