3 critically injured in minor dispute between 2 groups in Gurugram

Gurugram, Nov 16 : Three men, including a former sarpanch, were critically injured and dozen others were hurt in a clash between two groups following a minor dispute over standing near a local shop at Bamdoli village in Gurugram.

Four accused have been admitted to a private hospital.Joginder Yadav, a resident of Bamdoli village, was standing near a village shop at around 11.30 pm on Sunday when one of the accused, Akash alias Ashu, raised objection over his presence in the spot.This led to an altercation between them.

It is alleged that Akash called dozens of his group members, including one Sunny, who allegedly attacked Yadav with sticks.

Later Yadav also called his men, including his two maternal uncles Shamsher and Shailesh Kumar, and a full-fledged fistfight broke out between the two groups.

Akash and his aides then allegedly fired dozens of rounds on the members of the other group.

Sources said that during the incident, a bullet hit a former sarpanch, Shamsher, in the stomach.Apart from Shamsher, Snesh Kumar, Praveen and Manoj were critically injured.

Several others also suffered injuries in the clash.All of them were taken to a private hospital.Shamsher, who is stated to be critical, is in the ICU.“The accused will be arrested as per law once they are discharged from the hospital,” the police said.

“Based on the complaint filed by Yadav, a case has been registered against Akash, Sunny, Akash’s parents Azad and Kamlesh and others at Sector-10A police station.We are scanning the CCTV footage of the vicinity,” said Sanjay Yadav, SHO of Sector-10A police station.

Akash, the prime accused in the incident, had eliminated a co-student inside the school premises with his father’s licenced pistol in 2008.

The incident hit the headlines across the country and serious concerns were raised about the safety of the children inside the school premises.

The accused also has two murder cases registered against his name in Delhi
