Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has set loose a few restrictions for the schools to reopen.

According to his announcement through a video conference on Tuesday, schools in Andhra Pradesh reopens from November 2 with the classes carried on alternate days for the students of grades 1-12.

Accordingly, odd-numbered grades will receive classes on one day, and the even-numbered will attend the next day, said the Chief Minister.

Besides announcing that classes have to go only in the morning shift, Jagan has said schools with more than 750 students must be allowed to open once every three days.Also, all the attendees should receive mid-day meals without any hiccups.

The Chief Minister said this schedule is just for an assessment, and the decision for December will be made after carrying the results from the ongoing schedule.Apart from that, the students who don’t want to attend physical classes owing to COVID-19 pandemic can get online classes from their respective schools, assured the Andhra CM.

All the schools across the country had shut since March, following the announcement from the Central government.Recently the central government has set loose a few restrictions as a part of Unlock 5 and left the decision of reopening schools and colleges to state governments.
