In the past, Shanthakumaran Sreesanth was regarded as a remarkable bowler who could have brought great fame to the Indian cricket team.

However, all the assumptions had discarded when he was caught in a spot-fixing scandal during IPL 2013.Then, the BCCI had banned Sreesanth for a lifetime.

But, after fightback from Sreesanth, in 2018, the Kerala High Court ruled out the life ban by the BCCI.Yet, a division bench of the High Court restored the ban.Consequently, Sreesanth then moved to SC and after a long time wait, the apex court has asked the BCCI to reduce the punishment though the cricketer was found guilty.Accordingly, the BCCI has reduced the punishment to seven years which ended on September 12, 2020.

In a happy mood, speaking to media, Sreesanth said that he is ready to play cricket anywhere with any team.He said he is speaking to Australia, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka officials to associate with club-level teams.

His ultimate aim would be to play for the Indian cricket team in 2023 world cup.Which means, the 37-year-old cricketer has to be fit even at the age of 40 with consistent performance.
