Amidst these circumstances, YS Jagan indulged in a 2-hour long conversation with PM Modi, raising concerns over AP Special Status, 3-Capitals, and AP State Bifurcation.Though Jagan wanted to meet Home Minister Amit Shah, the latter was busy with the Delhi elections results, resulting in postponing the appointment.
YS Jagan will leave to Delhi today evening and will meet Home Minister Amit Shah.
Rumours emerged that the saffron party has put YSRCP at a bay in recent times.
YS Jagan’s meeting with BJP top brass is a ploy to play down these rumours and bargain a presence in PM Modi’s cabinet according to political analysts.At the same time, sources also confirmed that YS Jagan would focus on bringing back the state’s share in taxes and requesting more central funding for the debt-ridden state of Andhra Pradesh.
