Story :
Karthikeya (Raviteja) is a police officer in suspension.His aggressive attitude costs him a job.However, Raviteja still leads a happy life in Pondicherry by establishing an own business.But story takes a turn when his sister becomes an eye witness for a murder case.Who’s involved in that murder? Who is Irfan Lala (Freddie Daruwala)? How Rashi Khanna and Seerat Kapoor are connected with the story? (however, they are not).Know the answers in theaters.
Artists and Performances :
Raviteja is as usually at his usual best.For poeple who thought that the actor is a gone case seeing his looks in Kick 2, somehow he managed to look way younger than what he is.His trademark comedy timing and attitude will impress the masses.Raashi Khanna looks likes a doll in her new figure.Workouts have worked out big time.But apart from looks and glamour, she has got nothing to do with the story.It’s the same with Seerat Kapoor.Friddie Daruwala doesn’t impress as a villain.Vennela Kishore and Murali are typical.
Technical Talk :
Songs are refreshing as they are composed by Pritam’s Jam 8 team.But most of them doesn’t appeal for Telugu audience.It’s like watching and hearing Bollywood songs in Telugu theater.Background score from Manisharma is the only positive thing in the movie after cinematography.Camera work stands out.Even the DI work is good.Production values are super rich.Editing fails big time.
Analysis :
You will start searching for some story in the entire first half.But you never get to see anything till interval.Scenes by scenes, family track and romantic track with Rashi Khanna keep exchanging them.
Even the second half hardly has any exciting moments.A couple of scenes may work out for the masses.It’s high time, Raviteja should probably come out his comfort zone and start working on story based scripts.There is nothing you would get connected in the film.A dud to speak frankly.What shocks us is, Vakkankatam Vamshi has written this old age story
