 Jawaan Movie Review-TeluguStop.com

What’s it about?

Jai (Sai Dharam Tej) has been raised as a patriot.He aims to be a scientist The Defence Research and Development Organisation.

Serving the nation in every possible way is his life motive.But his friend Keshava (Prasanna) has started walking in a complete different path.

The baddie wants to steal a very advanced technology Octopus, a mission launcher from the defence department.The film is mainly a cat and mouse game between the protagonist and the antagonist.

Bhargavi (Mehreen) plays Jai’s love interest

Artists and Performances :

Sai Dharam Tej looks slick in the role of a patriot.He altered his body language for the role.

Even his diction has improved while uttering some really meaningful dialogues.He is fit enough to be a “Jawaan”.Mehreen looks dead drop gorgeous.Although she had gained some extra kilos, it may not be a matter for the southern audience.

The song Bugganchuna is a treat for the youth.Prasanna looks cool as a baddie.He has delivered a decent performance.Had it been Prasanna himself dubbing for his role, the character would have looked much evil and much screen appealing

Technical Talk :

Thaman is arguably the biggest asset of this film.The title track is simply kickass.The background score he delivered is beyond the writing and taking quality.

He had done more than “justice” for the script.Cinematography is good.Digital Intermediate is impressive.Editing department fails big time.VFX should have been better.Production values are rich

Analysis :

We can’t reveal what exactly happened in couple is scenes but most of the times, the writer cum director has taken extreme cinematic liberty and failed the logic.He romantic track he inserted in this larger than life story life just takes you away from the narration.Misplaced songs are extra dose of cliche.

The first half is big save when compared with the second.On a whole picture, Jawaan is mundane.

There are only couple of good moments and well written dialogues.Hardly, an one time watch

Plus Points :

* Dialogues
* Thaman’s music
* Couple of action episodes

Minus Points :

* The style of narration
* Misplaced songs
* Many unnecessary scenes
* Second half

Rating : 2.5/5
