New Delhi, Nov 24, : According to a recent survey by IPSOS Pakistan, 87 percent of Pakistanis believe that the country is heading in the wrong direction.Geo News reported that nearly 1,100 people took part in the survey, which was conducted this month.
According to IPSOS’ fourth quarterly report on Consumer Confidence Index (IPSOS), 43% of Pakistanis consider inflation the greatest problem in the country.
14 percent of respondents cited unemployment as Pakistan’s most serious and troubling problem, while 12 percent referred to poverty being the most important matter.
46% of respondents to the survey deemed Pakistan’s economic situation weak, while only 5% said it was correct.
According to IPSOS, 26% of Pakistanis deemed inflation the most serious problem in their country during the last survey.
According to the survey, coronavirus was the most important issue for respondents in the survey.It dropped from 18% to 8%.

In the last 27 months, the percentage of Pakistanis who believe that the country is heading in the wrong direction has been at its highest level.
49% of respondents to the survey said Pakistan’s current economic situation was good, while 46% said it was poor.Only 46% answered the question clearly and said it was not.The report stated that only 5% of respondents said that the country’s current economic condition was strong.
64 percent of those surveyed said they don’t expect improvement in the economy over the next six months.Only 12 percent were optimistic that it would.Twenty-four percent were neither hopeful nor discouraged.
47% of respondents answered weakly and unstable when asked about their personal financial condition, while 5% answered strong.48% said that their personal financial situation was neither strong nor weak.
Ipsos reported that there was a 20% increase in people who regarded their financial situation as weaker after June 2021.63% feared that the personal financial situation would remain poor despite improvements in the next six-months.
However, 13% were optimistic, and 24% were uncertain.
