Washington, Dec 8, 2008 : .A magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck the coast of Oregon’s eastern state at 0036 GMT Wednesday, according to the US Geological Survey. According to Xinhua news agency, the epicentre, which has a depth 10 km, was initially located at 44.40 degrees north latitude, and 129.53 degree west longitude.
