ఈ 4 గ్రామర్ టాపిక్స్ నేర్చుకుంటే ఇంగ్లీషు లో గలగలా మాట్లాడవచ్చు     2017-12-16   22:18:25  IST  Raghu V

1) Tenses :

Let’s take an example. If you have to ask someone about their last day activity, will you say “మీరు నిన్నటిరోజు ఆ సినిమా చూసారా?” or “మీరు నిన్నటిరోజు ఆ సినిమా చూడబోతున్నారా?”. The second one is utter nonsense. So, knowing the sentence formation according to the period of activity is important. So, you must know what are tenses to form a meaningful sentence. Tenses are వర్తమాన కాలం, భూత కాలం & భవిష్యత్తు కాలం in Telugu. Without a grip on tenses, you can never be able to write and talk English.

2) Helping Verbs :

Knowing helping verbs in another important thing to remember. Only by using a helping verb, you can portray the complete sense in the sentence. There are 23 primary helping verbs in English. They are : was, were, be, being, been, am, is, are, was, can, could, will, would, have, has, had, do, does, did, may, might, shall and should.

Will is very much different from would. While will is used when you are certain about a future thing, would implies probability. So, you must (a helping verb) learn all helping verbs and their usage.

3) Verb forms :

“నేను ఉదయం నుంచి ఆమెతో మాట్లాడుతూనే ఉన్నాను”. How will you form the same sentence in English? Since it’s present perfect continuous tense, you must be aware of their verb form to be included in such type of sentences.

* I have been talking to her since morning. THIS IS CORRECT

* I have been talk to her since morning. THIS IS WRONG.

Verb forms changed the entire scenario. “Talking” is “ing” form of Talk and Talk itself is V1. So, you must know the differences between verb forms of every verb.

4) Persons :

Usage of sentence, verb form changes with the change in person. While you use “We play cricket regularly”, you have add “s” and say “she plays cricket regularly” while talking about a third person singular. The similar topic in Telugu is ప్రథమ పురుష, ద్వితీయ పురుష & ద్వితీయ పురుష.
