India’s most prestigious movie making banner Yash Raj Films for the first time ventured into South Indian Cinema production with Aaha Kalyanam movie.
This is the remake of Hindi super hit movie Band Baaja Baarat and the bilingual movie has been opened on a poor note in both states.
For all those who have watched the original, the film will turn out to be unsatisfying
The film is released on a limited screens when compared with Nani`s recent releases.Despite that, it received a poor opening for both Noon & Matinee shows.
The word of mouth is also below average to average.
In Tamil Nadu Aaha Kalyanam fared poor at the box office on its first day and the total the collections amounted to Rs.96 lakhs.In Andhra Pradesh the film managed to collect a share of around 1.2+ crore on its first day.
Overall the film turns big disappointment and collected approx 2.50 Crores on Day 1
