Bloemfontein 25 Nov : India A beat South Africa A by 308/4 at stumps in Day 3 of their four-day match. The overnight duo of Panchal & Easwaran, unbeaten on 45 and 27 runs respectively on Day 2, continued their impressive performance with the bat and added 97 runs to their partnership.
After their 142-run stand, Panchal was unable to score a well-deserved hundred.He was also dismissed for 96 – a run that included 14 fours from George Linde.
Hanuma Vihari joined Easwaran and they added 42 runs before the latter scored 25.
Easwaran, however, did not give up and continued to complete 100.His fine performance was ended when Lutho Sipamla dismissed him for 103.
Baba Aparajith (19 runs) and wicketkeeper Upendra Yadav (5 runs) added 14 runs to the scoreboard before the bad light on Day 3 stopped play.
