In an interview given to a news paper; Sukumar revealed few interesting things about his love, life and wife ‘Hamsini’.He said that his is a love marriage.
His love story is very interesting and the director has first met her during the first day of his debut film Arya.Sukumar met her in ‘Sudarshan’ theatre in ‘Arya’ movie in 2004.
After the show when she asked for autograph; the director has given his phone number along with the autograph to her.
Slowly each other started meeting and talking and finally they understood that they were in love and decided to get married.But his in laws were against marrying a person from film industry which made them marry without informing the in laws.but now all of them were very happy.
Once his wife asked, ‘Most of the works will be done in technicians and crew; what do you do’.And this question has hurt Sukumar a lot as he is the director and it is because of him, the film works.But later he clearly explained her about the way he works.
