Allu Aravind has recently produced Srirastu Shubashastu which stars his own son Allu Sirish in lead role and Lavanaya Tripathi in the female lead.The film is directed by Parasuram.
The film has been doing decent business in Telugu states but the overseas audience clearly rejected it in the initial release.But Allu Aravind re released the film in USA with a hope to do good looking at the WOM it has been receiving here.
Ironically, it failed again.While the re release expenditure (publicity) was around 10 lakhs, the film managed to collect only 34,000 share.
Both the times, it has turned out to be a disaster.A double disaster in other words.
On the other hand, Srirastu Shubashastu has done decently good in Telugu states.The film raked over 7.50 distribution share in 3 weeks.
