Story
Ram Murthy (Nagineedu) is a strict retired head master lives with discipline and demands the same from his family members too.The rule of the house is anyone who do 100 mistakes will be kicked out of the family.Ram Murthy’s younger son, Sundeep (Sandeep Kishan) is a troublesome guy and is currently on 99/100.On the other side, Ram Murthy’s elder son (Brahmaji) gets engaged and the family takes Venkatadri Express for marriage in Tirupati.
As usually, Sundeep misses the train and he has to catch it before it goes to Tirupati to avoid the 100th mistake.What happens next forms the rest of the story.
Star Performances
Sandeep Kishan came with good performance showing his expressions in different situations.His comedy timing is good.
Rakul Preet Singh got good role and she looked hot in a songs.She performed well competing with Sandeep.
Highlight of the film is Tagubotu Ramesh’s performance.He outshone all as a drunkard in this film.
Brahmaji as a person who is thrilled atleast getting married at late age, Nagineedu as strict father, MS.Narayana and others complimented the lead actors quite well.
Technical Department
Kudos to debutante director Merlapaka Gandhi for his excellent work.He has given a crispy screenplay with fresh comic dialogues and presented a simple with in good narrative style.
Ramana Gogula songs are good and his background music also sounded fine.
Chota K.Naidu cinematography is nice and especially Mellamellaga song has been filmed beautifully.Gautham Raju editing was fine and production values of Anandi Art Creations Banner are good as expected.
Analysis
Director Merlapaka Gandhi chose a simple point and kept the audience interested for most of the film on whether gets caught committing his 100th mistake.He created situation comedy scenes quite well and Tagubotu Ramesh along with other actors didnot fail the director.
However the story dragged a bit in before the interval and even the climax is not worked out perfectly.Lack of commercial elements like item songs and mass elements is the drawback in the film.
Bottom line
Its an entertaining film train trip
