The Central Crime Station (CCS) police on Friday arrested a some individuals on suspicion of leaking 12-minute clipping of the much-awaited film ‘Baahubali.’ As per reports the video was allegedly leaked by an ex-employee of VFX Company.
A person named Varma, a software engineer by profession was arrested by police.According to reports, the culprit said to have admitted doing crime.
Meanwhile complaints have been filed against individuals in the team with the Cyber Crime division in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Police Departments.The police are tracking all Twitter and Facebook users who post or share links to this video.
Several individuals have been arrested and there could be more arrests.The DCP said the film was given to a company involved in visual effects and they suspected the role of employee of that company.
The police are also tracing out the second suspect who joined Varma during the uploading of this video onto internet.Baahubali, featuring Prabhas and Rana Dagubbati, is an upcoming two-part epic film being simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil languages.
The film will be simultaneously dubbed into Malayalam, Hindi and in several foreign languages.
