TDP which was struggling in Revanth reddy’s cash for vote scam finally has bresthed sigh of relief in the state.The party won three MPTC seats in by-elections in Warangal, Mahbubnagar and Khammam districts.
At Bhunidu of Madduru mandal in Mahbubnagar district, TDP candidate Lakshmi Devi won with a 692 votes majority over the TRS candidate Narender Reddy.Also the TDP candidates in Relakayapalli in Khammam district and Tandvai mandal in Warangal won against their contenders.
Other side TDP won MPTC seat in Karepalli mandal of Khamma district.The party candidate won over Congress by margin of 166 votes in Khammam district.
Other side TDP nominee Raju won over Congress nominee by 75 votes in Tadwai Mandal of Warangal.MPTC election in Tadwai Mandal in Warangal district is inevitable after Congress MPTC resigned for the position.
TDP has been suffering in Telangana since last 6 years.Party dual stand on division of Andhra Pradesh troubles party position in Telangana and TRS has targeted TDP from all corners in the state.
The result will surely give new energy to party cadres in the state.
