The suspense over Tamil Nadu’s former CM Jayalalithaa’s future is now cleared.As per reports Jayalalithaa is likely to assume office as Chief Minister on May 23.AIADMK party released an official announcement saying that current CM O.Paneer Selvam will step down on 22nd of this month.
AIADMK spokesperson C R Saraswathi told that chief minister O Panneerselvam would tender his resignation soon after the MLAs meeting and Jayalalithaa would be sworn in as chief minister the following day.

It’s already known that AIADMK MLA from RK Nagar P Vetrivel resigned on last Sunday ahead of the Legislature Party meeting .Speaker P Dhanapal accepted the resignation and also declared the seat vacant.A notification to this effect has been issued by the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Secretary recently.
