TDP firebrand leader Revanth Reddy once again breathed relief.The Supreme Court rejected the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau’s petition to quash Revanth Reddy’s bail.
Its known news that High Court in Hyderabad on Tuesday granted bail to A Revanth Reddy and two other co-accused in the high-profile cash-for-vote scam.
Challenging the high court decision ACB approached Supreme court and the case came to hearing today.
But the supreme court bluntly rejects the petition filed by ACB.
The ACB Counsel contended that being a senior politician, Revanth Reddy might use his influence to tamper with the evidence or threaten the witnesses.They also showed Revnath’s speech as evidence.ACB counsel and the attorneys told the Court that in his speech right after he came out on bail, Revanth was threatening and used harsh words for Chief Minister.
But the arguments failed to please the Supreme court and it rejected the petition.
