There is hardly any doubt to saying that promoting brands is a shortcut to not only making quick money but also shooting to fame in short time. Bollywood super star Aamir Khan has been roped as brand ambassador for online e-commerce seller Snapdeal.
Online marketplace major Snapdeal has roped in Bollywood actor by paying hefty amount to the actor. Khan, who is known to charge Rs.4-5 crore for endorsements, is reportedly charging Rs 15-20 crore for endorsing the snapdeal.
Aamir Khan is always very selective about the brands that he endorses. In the past, he has been associated with brands like Coca Cola, Samsung, Godrej, Tata Sky and Titan watches.
Most e-commerce companies have been getting celebrities to endorse their brands. Yepme roped in Shah Rukh Khan recently. Myntra got on board Ranveer Singh. LimeRoad and Jabong have Neha Dhupia and Yami Gautam as their ambassadors, respectively.As e-commerce marketplaces seek brand ambassadors, it is only natural that Bollywood’s Khans enter the picture.The commercials of Amir Kahan are expected to be aired in the next 10 days.
