Victory Venkatesh is all over the news since couple of weeks.His latest Radha was launched, Multistarrer with Pawan Kalyan has been announced today and here is another update about Venkatesh’s another film.
It was announced that Victory Venkatesh will remake Drishyam in telugu.
Veteran heroines Meena and Nadia have been roped in to play important roles in the movie .The yet-untitled remake, to be helmed by actor-filmmaker Sripriya and will be produced by D.Suresh Babu.
Venky will be seen as father of two girls in the movie and suresh productions launched search for the suitable teenage girls for the role and here is the casting call released by Suresh Productions
We are looking to cast for 3 major roles in this big path-breaking Telugu Film, jointly produced by Suresh productions, Raj Kumar Theaters Pvt.Ltd., and Wide Angle Creations.This is a remake of the super hit Malayalam film “Drishyam”.Venkatesh and Meena will be playing the lead roles in this film.
Requirements:
Role 1: Anjali, Age: 14-17.
Description: Anjali is an intermediate second year student.She is an adolescent, who is very good at studies.
She is beautiful but not so much interested in her looks.She adores her father very much and looks up to him.She has reached an age where she takes time in confiding to her parents regarding any issues and concerns.She is the quintessential “girl-next-door”.
Role 2 : Anu, Age 8-12
Description : Anu is a bubbly girl.She likes to spend more time before the mirror than his books.She is very lovable, naughty and innocent.She looks tender and vulnerable.
She loves her father very much and keeps asking him silly questions.Though, when she is scared, she wants to be by her mother’s side.Behind her innocent eyes she is an extremely strong girl.

“Drishyam”, which is about a father’s plight to cover up a murder committed by his family, is also being remade in Tamil and Kannada.
While Kamal Haasan will feature in its Tamil remake, veteran actor Ravichandran will play the lead in the Kannada version.
