Telangana TDP MLA Revanth Reddy has witnessed a sigh of relief in the High Court as he has been granted conditional bail in cash for vote scam issue.Revanth Reddy was asked to deposit Rs 5 lakh and submit surety of two persons.
Court imposed restrictions on bail and asked them not to leave the country.
The court also asked them not to try to tamper with evidences.Revanth Reddy is likely to get release by the end of the day or early tomorrow morning.The Judge approved Reddy’s bail as he has been under judicial custody almost a month from May 31.The Judge is expected to issue the order copy of the bail at 12 noon today.Earlier the ACB court rejected Reddy’s bail plea.
The Anti Corruption Bureau had arrested Revanth Reddy after allegations were made that he had offered bribe to a legislator to vote for the TDP in the Telangana legislative council.
