Actor Rana Daggubati is a famous celebrity in Indian Cinema.Though his roots are from our Telugu film industry, he is national wide famous.He acted in Bollywood films as well.Now, he is making plans to go international.He who is basking in the success of “Baahubali”, will reportedly be essaying the role of a naval officer in his next yet-untitled Telugu project about the mysterious sinking of the PNS Ghazi submarine.The film will be directed by a newcomer Sankalp Reddy and Prasad Potluri will be bankrolling the film on his own banner PVP Cinema.
The film will explore the events that paved way to the sinking of PNS Ghazi.
The film is currently in the final stages of scripting and the makers have been planning to begin the shoot as soon as possible and most likely in the next month.
The film is being made as India’s first submarine warfare movie.The film was originally planned to be made with actor Rajeev Khandelwal last year.
But now Rana stepped into the project and veteran actor Prakash Raj will be playing an important role in the film.Most of the shooting will happen inside a submarine and the team has already started the art work in a studio at Hyderabad.
