Prominent Kollywood character artist cum Villain Kadhal Dhandapani passed away due to cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Chennai.He was known for his intense portrayal in many films and also showed his knack for comedy in a few movies.
His voice was particularly marked and he would surely be missed.
He rose to fame portraying the antagonist in Balaji Sakthivel’s Kaadhal(Premisthe) (2004), and is credited with the film’s name as a prefix.
Other than Tamil industry, he has also appeared in Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu films too.
He got recognition among Telugu audience with his roles in “Muni”, “Krishna” and Aanjaneyulu.The news comes as a shock since he was working with Sarath Kumar for his upcoming film Sandamarutham.”My deepest condolences to friend and colleague who worked with me yesterday Kaadhal Dhandapani has left this world to the heavenly abode RIP,” Sarath Kumar posted on his Twitter account.
