Revanth staged protesting for not inviting him for the inauguration of a new `market yard`.TRS Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao laid the foundation stone for a new Market Yard in Mahabubnagar today and invitation was not sent to Revanth who was local MLA.
Much ahead of the Minister’s visit Revanth started staging a dharna alleging that he being the local MLA did not get the invitation.TDP activists and Revanth’s supporters hurled stones at police vehicles and it leads to chaos.
Sensing the trouble police arrests the leader and took him into custody.
Anti-Corruption Bureau earlier arrested A.Revanth Reddy on the charge of trying to bribe a nominated member of the Assembly representing the Anglo-Indian community, Elvis Stephenson.
