A Suit was gifted to the Prime Minister of India Shri.Narendra Modi by a businessman named Ramesh Varma.
Ramesh gave this gift to Modi on the eve of Ramesh Varma’s son wedding on 26th January with pin strips of ‘Narendra Damodardas Modi’ on the suit.Suit costed then Rs.11 Lakhs is now into Guinness Book of World Records.
Narendra Modi during the visit of United States of America President Mr.Barack Obama to India wore this suit Subsequently it was bought by Surat based diamond merchant Lalijibhai Patel for Rs.4.31 Crores.Patel stated that he bought this suit in order to do something good to the nation.
During then opposition party raised their objection as to how a PM can accept this gift from an individual.But now this suit has set Guinness Book of World Records.
