The Telugu version of director Shankar’s highly-awaited Tamil film “I” (Ai) has got a fantastic opening at Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (AP/T) box office.Despite of mixed response I opens to an earth-shattering response at the AP and Telangana Box office.
This film collected 7.5 crores across both telugu states on day 1 and it’s a record in dubbing films category.In USA, ‘I’ collected $126K from 100 locations on Tuesday and the film collected $77K so far today.
The film is likely to end the opening weekend on a strong note, but it needs to be seen as to how the film fares in the coming days considering it has got average reviews from the critics and the audience alike.
There are no big releases until February and “I” is expected to dominate the screens till then
“I” is the most-talked-about and highly-anticipated movie of the year 2014.Shankar mania has been successful in driving unprecedented crowd outside as well as inside both single screens and multiplexes in both these states.
The movie has registered 100% occupancy in the morning shows almost everywhere in both the states.
