Princess Esra Birgin, the wife of VIII Nizam Prince Mukarram Jah, called on Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at his camp office.Esra appreciated the welfare and development programmes going on the newly formed State.
She appreciated that the Government was working up to the satisfaction of the people.
She reportedly requested KCR to bring back the priceless Nizam’s jewellery for display in Hyderabad.
Sources said she told KCR that the valuable pieces of jewellery, presently locked in the RBI vaults, would be a big treasure for Hyderabad.
She also hoped that Telangana State would touch new peaks under the leadership of KCR.Kalvakuntla Kavita and Advisor to Government Papa Rao were also present on the occasion.Though officials described it as a courtesy call, Ms Esra Birgin has been advocating renaming Kasu Brahmananda Reddy Park after Mukarram Jah.
