Spotted: Modified TDP flag in Mahanadu

Aiming to attain a national party status, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) began its three-day Mahanadu amid fanfare at Gandipet on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Wednesday.TDP president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the event.

The main attraction at Mahanadu was the brand new flag of TDP party.

The ruling Party made few changes to its existing party flag and these modifications came to light in Mahanadu flags.

While most of the leaders are unaware of this change, the new flags were seen everywhere in city for TDP’s annual conclave.

The new look of the flag changed the bright yellow colour to bit golden shade yellow and the hut, plough and wheel got shifted to the top left of the flag.The colours green and red from plough and wheel became border lines in bottom of the flag.

The party’s top leaders, including its ministers in the central government, state ministers from Andhra Pradesh and MPs and legislators from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana attended the event.

The party flag was designed by legendary NTR during launch of the party.

Since then the party flag and symbol remained same.Chandrababu Naidu’s son N.Lokesh, who is expected to be entrusted with a key responsibility in the party is said to be suggested the changes.
